LAQSHYA is one of the largest technical fest in Durg, Chhattisgarh.

Annually, CSIT Durg hosts one of the largest technical fest in Durg, Chhattisgarh. National Level Techno -Management Fest“LaQshya”is dedicated to creating opportunities for all students to pursue their creative talents.

A programmeof captivating events will be held in a variety of venues at the heart of the campus, with something to cater to all tastes. With over 28 events spanning across 28 dynamic venues over 2 full days, it is an enlivening experience from beginning to end.

LAQSHYA’16 DETAILS

LaQshya’16 encompasses following category of events –

1. Robotics

• Robowars - Construct a robot which can demolish the opponent robot.

• Wrestlemania– Construct a robot which can show the strength to push the opponent robot out of the ring.

• Robo Soccer League– Construct a Robot which can play the Soccer with the opponent robot.

• Xxcelerate– Construct a robot which can show its robustness for the given circumstances like water, inclination, slides, sand etc.

• Deep Blue– Design a robot which should float and work in water.

• Robo Go Carting - A team has to make a wireless robot that has to complete a race in minimum time as per the rules for the given arena.

• Lord of The Ring - Construct a robot which will arrange set of ten/twenty rings to complete a pattern/ design.

• Robothon – Construct a leg robot to compete in races over varied rough but equal terrains.

2. Technical Events.

• Electronics Teaser– The team has to show the talent about electronics skill for solving the puzzles, circuits etc.

• Cryptic C– The programmer have to find the various bugs in the given programs

• CAD Master – To design and assemble different parts using PRO Wildfire 5.0

• Crack O Mania – To identify and assemble the hardware components of a computer.

3. Gaming Events.

• Counter Strike 1.6– The team of five members has to play a game as Terrorist/ Counter Terrorist to assassinate their opponent team member.

• Need for Speed Hot Pursuit– Using your computer skill you have to run your vehicle in virtual world with the maximum speed and control on the board.

• Pro Evolution Soccer – A computer gaming event

• Smack Down Pain – A computer gaming event

• Urban Reign - A computer gaming event

4. Business &Management Events

• B Izz– The participants will have to answer questions on the business world and its jargons.

• Ad mad show – Create an advertisement for a given brand.

• Dummy market –The participants will have to display their selling skills

5. BRAINTEASER

• Photo Phonics - An event where participants need to click snaps on given themes.

• Artifex Show - The participant has to bring and show his/her creation with waste materials.

• Nirmaan – To design a structure using stuffs like ice cream sticks, tissue paper,etcthis satisfies the constraint.

• Sudoku – An event where participants need to use their logic related to numbers tosolve puzzles.
